Economic situation of Pakistan remained better in comparison with neighboring countries: Reza Baqir

KARACHI (92 News) – State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Governor Reza Baqir has said that economic situation of Pakistan remained better in comparison with neighboring countries.

Addressing a summit conference on Wednesday, he said that last three years are very important regarding national economy. “We appreciate efforts of NCOC, in Pakistan death rate remained less in every wave of COVID-19. Along with this, citizens were helped under Ehsaas programme. Despite of COVID-19 economical figures and expenditures of government were under control. Efforts were made in for controlling deficits of current accounts,” he maintained.
