ECP accepts Miftah Ismail's plea, orders votes recount in NA-249

KARACHI (92 News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday accepted the application of PML-N candidate Miftah Ismail for votes recount in NA-29.

The votes will be recounted at 9am on May 6. All parties have been directed to reach the RO Office on that day.

Talking to the media after the hearing, PML-N candidate Miftah Ismail said that they had not been given a single Form 46.

Meanwhile, PPP candidate Qadir Mandokhel said that he would definitely win in the votes recount.

On the other hand, Mustafa Kamal of the Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) has filed an application to re-conduct the by-election in the constituency. Moreover, PTI candidate Amjad Afridi also filed an application for the re-poll.
