ECP announces by-election in Punjab's four constituencies on October 9

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday announced to hold the by-election in four constituencies of Punjab.

According to a notification, the polling in NA-157 (Multan), PP-139 (Sheikhupura), PP-241 (Bahawalnagar) and PP-209 (Khanewal) will be held on October 9.

Meanwhile, the ECP has decided to approach the Islamabad High Court regarding suspension of the notification of nine constituencies.

Earlier, the ECP had postponed the by-election in 13 constituencies due to floods.
