ECP announces to hold polling in eight NA constituencies on October 16

- The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced to hold the polling in eight constituencies of the National Assembly on October 16.

Earlier, the polling in these constituencies was scheduled to be held on September 25 and it was postponed to the floods.

All eight constituencies were vacated by the PTI MNAs. Four constituencies are located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while two each are in Punjab and Karachi.

Meanwhile, the ECP announced that polling for the local government elections will be held in all districts of Karachi on October 23. However, the date for polling in Hyderabad will be announced later.
