ECP decides to hear foreign funding case daily

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Under instructions from the Islamabad High Court, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has decided to hear the foreign funding case daily.

According to the ECP spokesperson, the decision to hear the case daily has been made on the orders of the IHC.

On Thursday, the IHC had ordered the ECP to announce the verdict of the foreign funding case within 30 days. The written verdict was issued by Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani.

The court also rejected the plea for refusing the record to Akbar S Babar. It also rejected the plea for keeping Akbar S Babar away from the foreign funding case.
