LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has on Monday challenged the decision of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in the Lahore High Court to bar party chairman Imran Khan from taking part in the campaigns of its electoral candidates. In its plea filed by Advocate Ahmad Awais, the PTI has contended that barring the party chief from election campaign does not come under the jurisdiction of the ECP. The PTI chairman had announced a full-scale electoral drive for NA-122 and NA-154 constituencies after consultation with legal experts.
