ECP directs PESCO to halt loadshedding during NA-19 by-polls

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has on Thursday written a letter to Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) directing it to bring an end to loadshedding during the NA-19 by-elections. The Election Commission of Pakistan has also issued directions to Provincial Election Commission. The ECP has banned the mobile phones in the premises of the polling stations, further directing the polling staff not to use mobile phones. Only the Presiding Officers will be allowed to use mobile phones and the males have been strictly prohibited in the premises of female polling stations.
