KARACHI (92 News) - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has failed to hold the fair elections for the slot of the Karachi mayor.

In a letter written to the chief election commissioner after the victory of PPP's Murtaza Wahab, the JI stated that 29 members of the PTI were kidnapped and stopped to cast their votes.

"This fraud process should be declared null and void and a new schedule for the elections should be announced. The real mandate was murdered ruthlessly. It is cheat and compulsory occupation of the public mandate. Its results will not be in favour of the city," it contended.

Talking to the media in the House, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that the election is not fair. "The authorities should have first brought the 30 missing members and then conducted the elections," he added.
