ECP gave a courageous verdict, democracy will win: Ch Pervaiz Elahi

LAHORE (92 News) - Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi said that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had given a courageous verdict and democracy will win as a result of the verdict.

Talking to 92 News on Friday, he said that he would dissolve the Punjab Assembly whenever Imran Khan would order him.

"Now the PTI will have to decide. The vote of the deputy speaker and anyone else has no value. Imran Khan will make an important announcement in Multan today," he added.

He said that he congratulated the chief election commissioner on the historic verdict. "We respect courts and institutions," he added.
