ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will today (Wednesday) hold the hearing on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's disqualification case. Pakistan People's Party (PPP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Awami Muslim League (AML) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) had filed references against the prime minister and his family. The political parties had filed their pleas after deadlock in talks between the opposition parties and the government over the terms of reference (ToRs) to investigate into Panama leaks. Earlier, the ECP had issued notices to petitioners regarding petitions seeking disqualification of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for allegedly hiding assets in his declaration that he submitted during the general elections 2013.
