ECP issues partially modified schedule for Punjab elections

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday issued the partially modified schedule for the elections in Punjab.

After the verdict of the Supreme Court, the ECP has started preparations for the electoral process in Punjab.

According to the schedule, the last date for filing appeals against decisions of the returning officer is April 10, while the last date for deciding the appeals by the appellate tribunals is April 17.

The revised list of the candidates will be published on April 18. Candidates can withdraw their nominations on April 19. The election symbols will be allotted to candidates on April 20, while the polling will be held on May 14.
