ECP issues schedule of LG polls for federal capital

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced the schedule of Local Government elections for the Islamabad Capital Territory. According to the ECP, the elections will be held on November 30. Candidates can file their nominations papers from October 24th to 27th. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be held from October 31 to November 4, while appeals against acceptance or rejection of nomination papers can be filed on 5th and 6th November this year. Final list of contesting candidates with symbols allotted to them will be published on 11th of November. The elections will be held on party basis.
