ECP issues victory notifications in 814 constituencies, withholds in 26

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan has notified the returned candidates in 814 constituencies of provincial and national assemblies. Notifications have been withheld in 26 constituencies. The notifications have been withheld for nine National Assembly constituencies, five Punjab Assembly constituencies, six Sindh Assembly seats, three Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly seats and three Balochistan Assembly seats. The ECP has withheld victory notifications for NA-90, NA-91, NA-108, NA-112, NA-140, NA-215 and NA-271. Conditional notifications have been issued in respect of Imran Khan and Sardar Ayaz Sadiq against whom misconduct hearings are pending before the Election Commission. Notifications have been withheld for PS-29, PS-36, PS-48, PS-54 and PS-82 on the orders of the Sindh High Court.
