ECP made Senate election controversial, says Shahid Khaqan Abbasi

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that the Election Commission of Pakistan had made the Senate election controversial.

Talking to the media on Wednesday, he said that the Supreme Court or the ECP had no right make an amendment to the constitution, which was the power of the parliament only.

"We will not allow anyone make amendment to the constitution through the backdoor. The people taking and giving money in the video scandal belonged to the PTI," he said.
