ECP postpones by-elections to 13 constituencies due to floods

ISLAMABAD - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday postponed the by-elections to 13 constituencies due to floods in the country.

According to a press release issued by the ECP, the by-elections have been postponed due to engagement of the security institutions in the relief activities.

The ECP had announced the by-elections to 11 constituencies of National Assembly and two Punjab Assembly seats for different dates.

The new dates will be announced later on.
