ECP scrutinizes 662,000 electoral staff for next general elections

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has on Wednesday completed scrutiny of around 662,000 electoral staff while the training would start from July this year.

As part of its preparation for the 2018 general elections, the ECP requires 700,000 staff for the electoral process, out of which the commission has completed the scrutiny of around 662,000 electoral staff to perform duties in the elections.

Sources said that the ECP has selected those people within the age of 55 who do not have affiliation with any political party.

“The selected staff is aware of the usage of latest technology,” sources added.

The training of the electoral staff will commence from the month of July in phases.
