ECP sets up tribunal to dispose of appeals against nomination papers

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has appointed High Court Judges as Tribunal for disposal of appeals against the decision of Returning Officers concerned on rejection or acceptance of the nomination papers of candidates for conduct of Senate elections.

According to ECP notification, Justice Aamer Farooq of Islamabad high High Court has been appointed as Tribunal for Federal Capital, Justice Shahid Waheed of Lahore High Court for Punjab, Justice Agha Faisal of Sindh High Court for Sindh, Justice Syed Arshad Ali of Peshawar High Court for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Justice Muhammad Hashim Khan Kakar of Balochistan High Court for Balochistan.
