ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has demanded that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) should suspend the membership of PM Imran Khan for holding the public meeting in Swat despite its warning.

Talking to the media on Wednesday, PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal said that the prime minister stressed the word 'absolutely not', but where it was when talks were being held with the IMF. "The autonomy of the country has been compromised to the extent during this tenure, which was not made in the past," he declared.

The PML-N leader said that the meaning of standing with the government is inflation and unemployment. "The ECP, which is probing the foreign funding case, is the target of Imran Khan. For this reason, he is insulting it daily," he added.

He said that the time for accountability of the prime minister had approached. "The no-confidence motion has been tabled against the prime minister who is running here and there now. He should come to the assembly and show his numbers," he maintained.
