ECP to announce Punjab's caretaker CM tomorrow

LAHORE (92 News) - The Election Commission of Pakistan will announce the caretaker chief minister in Punjab on Sunday.

Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja has summoned a meeting in this regard.

The government alliance has proposed Ahmed Nawaz Sukhera and Naveed Akram Cheema, while Mohsin Raza Naqvi and Ahad Cheema have been proposed by the opposition.

The matter was sent to the ECP after the parliamentary committee failed to reach consensus over the appointment of the caretaker chief minister.
