Education Dept, district admin responsible for rigging in NA 75 Daska: report

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) fact-finding inquiry committee has held the Education Department and the district administration responsible for rigging in NA 75 Daska.

According to the report, the DRO and RO have been declared incompetent. The report also includes the name of former SACM Firdous Ashiq Awan.

Moreover, police officers appointed at 20 polling stations have been held responsible for direct disruption in the electoral process. It stated that the presiding officers were forcibly taken to Sialkot.

The report said that the police officers changed the results of several polling stations, recommending a severe disciplinary action against the responsible police officers.

It also held the returning officer responsible for concealing the facts by telling the lies. EDO Education Maqbool Ahmed Shakir has also been held responsible for rigging.
