Effort being made to nullify disqualification of Nawaz Sharif: PM Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that an effort is being made to nullify the disqualification of PML-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif.

Addressing a meeting of the PTI spokesperson on Friday, he said that there was no moral justification for abolishing the sentence of Nawaz Sharif.

"What is the corruption if Nawaz Sharif has not done it?. All jails should be opened if someone wants to abolish the sentence of Nawaz Sharif. Nawaz Sharif looted the public money and transferred it abroad," he added.

The prime minister said that the people are languishing in jails in fake cases, while words are being uttered to make the way for big thieves. "Convicts are also dreaming of assuming the office of the prime minister."

He assigned the party spokespersons the task of highlighting the corruption of Nawaz Sharif.

About the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa local bodies elections, PM Imran Khan said that he would announce the future strategy after the official results. "It is surprising that the PML-N and the PPP are celebrating the victory in the elections. To the contrary, the people are with the PTI," he added.
