Efforts being made to create instability in Pakistan: Sheikh Rasheed

LAHORE (92 News) - Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed has said that efforts are being made to create instability in Pakistan.

Expressing his views in 92 News Program 'Cross Talk' on Friday, he said that they had already defeated the anti-state elements and would defeat in future as well.

He said that there is no way to counter a suicide attacker across the world. "The Australian team visited Pakistan after 24 years. An attempt was made to stop them, but they did not stop," he added.

The minister said that he was sure that the opposition will not hold a long march on March 23. "Pakistan is first time holding such a big meeting of the international leaders and about 25-30 airplane will land here. The opposition should understand that the country is first and then comes other things," he maintained.

About the no-confidence motion, he said that the speaker had not received the requisition for the meeting. "This is a procedure of a month and it will not happen before it," he added.
