Efforts being made to restore railway operations after the floods, says Saad Rafiq

QUETTA (92 News) - Minister of Railways Khawaja Saad Rafiq says that he is trying to restore railway operations after the flood.

Railway Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq inspected the collapsed bridge near Harak Railway Station in Quetta Division. Railway officers and military officials were also accompanied.

The Federal Minister of Railways was briefed regarding the restoration work of the bridge. He also inspected the affected railway tracks.

Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq said that Balochistan railway operation will be restored soon from Karachi. there will be no delay in the rehabilitation of railways. The flood also broke a hundred-year-old very strong bridge. The reconstruction of the bridge will have to work in double shifts.

He said that no work was done on the Sabi-Harnai section in the last four years, the railway department suffered the worst loss in the country's history due to floods. In the previous government, ML-1 could not be formed under CPEC, if ML-1 is formed, it will be the turn of two and three.
