LAHORE/ISLAMABAD/KARACHI (92 News) – Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) was celebrated with religious zeal across the country on Monday. The day dawned with special prayers, in the mosques throughout the country for the flourishing of the Islamic teachings, unity, solidarity and progress, security and stability of Pakistan. The day dawned with 31-gun salute in the federal capital and 21-gun salutes in all provincial capitals to pay homage to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Special conferences, events and "Mahafil-e-Naat" have been arranged to pay respect to the Holy Prophet (PBUH). People decorated and illuminated their houses and streets, besides bazaars with lights and green flags to show their respect and love with the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Banners and billboards were displayed to celebrate the day.
