Eight lawyers arrested after clash with police in Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) - Police arrested eight lawyers after a clash during a protest against transfer of civil courts on Wednesday.

The police also baton-charged and tear-gassed the protesters to disperse them. The protesting lawyers tried to force their entry into the Lahore High Court (LHC) building. The arrested lawyers have been shifted to Civil Lines police station. 

The police blocked all roads leading to the LHC, creating severe traffic mess on all linking roads.
