10 die in rain-related incidents in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – As many as 10 people died in rain-related incidents across the city on Saturday. The Rescue officials said that a passerby was killed after being electrocuted by a live wire at Hussainabad. Another person lost his life in a similar incident near Lyari’s Khadda Market area. Two more people were electrocuted in Gulistan-e-Jauhar. A man was killed after making contact with a live electric wire in New Karachi area. In another incident, a man was wounded after suffering a chock at Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 13/D-2. The Pakistan Meteorological Department had predicted a fresh spell of monsoon rains in southern parts of the country, including Karachi.
