Eight women among 10 more PML-N MNAs sworn in

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Ten more MNAs belonging to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) were sworn in during a session of the National Assembly on Monday.

Speaker Sarddar Ayaz Sadiq administered the oath to the MNAs including Saira Afzal Tarar, Abdur Rehman Kanju and Azhar Qayyum Nahra.

During the oath-taking ceremony, the opposition members continued to chant 'no no'. Later, the MNAs put their signatures on the register.

PTI leader Omar Ayub Khan said that they had submitted an adjournment motion on the judges' letter and hence they should be allowed to speak in the House. Speaker Ayaz Sadiq said that he had received the adjournment motion and would give the ruling shortly.

PTI leader Asad Qaisar demanded that a discussion should be held on the judges' issue. At this, the speaker replied that the discussion cannot be held as the matter is sub judice.
