Either NAB will work or country, both cannot work together: Ex-PM Abbasi

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Taking aim at the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that either the NAB would work or the country, both cannot work together. Speaking to the journalists outside the accountability court, the former prime minister said that Imran Khan is the 'selected prime minister' and has come through a controversial election. "Political engineering is a way to suppress the opposition," he added. Khaqan Abbasi also said that no inquiry was initiated against any government official in last two years. He also alleged that the government has no business other than implementing accountability process on the opposition. "I was being accused of sending money from an Indian company. Shame on the NAB before labeling such allegations against me. We don't afraid from the NAB," he further maintained. "It is responsibility of the opposition to send government packing and announced that plan of action in this regard will be finalized in upcoming All Parties Conference (APC)," he said.
