Elderly traffic warden beaten up by citizen in Peshawar

PESHAWAR (92 News) – A citizen claiming himself to be a lawyer beat up an elderly traffic warden over a trifle on Friday. The citizen asked the warden to give him the passage for his vehicle, but the latter told him to wait for two minutes. The citizen got infuriated and attacked the warden with fists and kicks. He also threw the warden on the road. In addition, the attacker also threatened to crush the warden to death. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IGP has taken notice of the incident and ordered an inquiry into the matter. Meanwhile, the police have arrested the lawyer who beat up a elderly warden after registering a case.
