LAHORE (92 News) – PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto has said that an elected ruler, not ‘selected’ is needed to run the economy. Talking to the media after offering condolence over the death of the mother of party ticket-holder Jamil Manj on Wednesday, he said that Sindh is being punished for not supporting the puppet government. “In the election, the people will decide whom party they support,” he added. The PPP chairman said that the murder of the journalist Aziz Memon is being used against them. “We condemn the murder of the journalist.” He said that the Sindh IGP was not being transferred despite after Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah reached the consensus. He said that the Sindh IGP should be changed as the IGPs are changed in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. “It is my wish to topple the government soon after getting a chance. We want to topple the government in constitutional, democratic and legal way,” he added. Bilawal Bhutto said that the PPP had also approached the IMF, but did not agree to its each demand. “The PML-N has an important role as the opposition in the parliament. We can’t do anything without the PML-N,” he added. He hoped that Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif. “The PPP will continue to play the role of the opposition.”
