Election Commission terms Imran Khan’s allegations as baseless

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) termed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan’s allegations and statements as baseless.   The ECP said that the institution cannot be black mailed at any cost.   The ECP spokesperson said that the PTI chairman is criticizing election commission to influence the pending cases against him.   He further said that the election commission would continue its work on the front foot without accepting any pressure.   Imran Khan had signaled coming out on roads against the election commission on Monday.   Read more: Imran Khan signals coming on roads against election commission
