LAHORE (92 News) - The election tribunal allowed PTI chairman Imran Khan to contest the by-election from NA-108 and NA-118.

During the hearing, Imran Khan's lawyer Barrister Ali Zafar said that nomination papers were submitted after fulfilling all the legal requirements. The nomination papers of Imran Khan have been approved from the rest of the constituencies. The Returning Officer rejected the nomination papers contrary to the facts.

Mansoor Awan, the lawyer of NA-118 candidate Shazra Mansab, said that Imran Khan hid the gifts received from Toshakhana from the institutions. Despite concealing the facts, the returning officer accepted his nomination papers without justification.

On this, Justice Shahid Waheed remaked that all the charges were related to the election petition after the elections. “Raise an objection on which the tribunal may exercise its discretion.”

Talking to the media, Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Farrukh Habib said that the government is seeing nothing but Imran Khan. “It is necessary to hold general elections for the stability of the country.”

Former Federal Minister Ejaz Shah said that Rana Sanaullah is the Minister of Information and not the Minister of Interior because he is doing everything except the work of the Ministry of Interior.
