Electioneering ends as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa goes to LB polls tomorrow

PESHAWAR (92 News) – The Election Commission finalised all arrangements to hold the local bodies elections across the province on Saturday. The Election Commission has sent election material to all district returning officers. Meanwhile, the election campaign ended on Thursday night. As many as 84,400 candidates are contesting for 41,762 seats. Foolproof security arrangements have been made to ensure peaceful polls. The electoral alliance has broken in several areas, leaving the Awami National Party alone. On the other hand, transport owners have protest against the police for forcibly seizing their vehicles for the election duty.
