Elections for SCBA underway

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The elections for Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) are underway in Sindh including Karachi on Monday. Farooq H Naek and Rasheed A Rizvi are contesting for Presidentship of the Association, while Ghulam Shabbir, Sohail Hayat and Shakeel Ahmad are contesting for vice president. Aftab Bajwa and Safdar Hussain Tarrar are contesting for secretary. Over 2900 enrolled lawyers will use their right to vote, while more than 480 lawyers from interior Sindh will exercise their right to vote. Voting will continue till 5pm this evening.
