Elections will be held on Feb 8 whether someone weeps or cries: Marriyum

LAHORE (92 News) - PML-N leader Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that the elections will be held on February 8 whether someone cries or weeps.

Talking to the media on Saturday, she said that the people want the elections. She accused the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of supporting the elections delay resolution in the Senate. "Those who wail outside remain silent in the Senate."

She said that the PTI had moved the LHC to stop the elections. "The person sitting in jail should stop threatening the people and now the country was like as it was on May 9. It is going to be handed over to the people of May 28," she added.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the PTI acts are basically a drama staged by teh 'umpire level plain field'. "Nawaz Sharif did not get a level-playing field in 2018 and the entire PML-N was sent to jail," she maintained.
