QUETTA (92 News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif demanded for a free and fair election and warned that the elections without transparency would be disastrous. Talking to the journalists, Shehbaz lashed out at the electoral commission over alleged favouritism. "Elections without transparency would be disastrous. That’d be equal to a tragedy. The caretaker government in Punjab should not favour PTI. No wrong precedent should be set," he said. “All the political parties are facing difficulties in election campaign, except for one, which has been given permission to continue with the campaign,” he said. The PML-N president said that if the elections procedure was to make controversial then irreparable loss would be faced. Shehbaz Sharif said that solution to every problem lies in fair and transparent elections. He also visited the family of Siraj Raisani and offered condolences for Mastung tragedy. He proposed that the evidence be dispatched to forensic labs in Punjab in order to investigate technicalities. He also expressed concern that the attacks may hamper the July 25 elections.
