Electoral process will be fair, no party will be supported or opposed: Caretaker PM Kakar

LONDON (92 News) - Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar has said that the electoral process will be fair and no party will be supported or opposed in the country.

In an exclusive interview with Turkish TRT TV, he said that Pakistan is an independent and free country. "We make decisions in the national interests. There will be no permission to violent protests," he declared.

The prime minister said that the Army was an organized institution and the government had to seek help from it in different matters under compulsion.

He said that the government had taken several steps to stop cross-border attacks. "Stability in Afghanistan is in the interests of both countries," he added.
