Electronic voting will bring transparency in election system: Punjab CM Buzdar

LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that the electronic voting will bring transparency in the election system.

He was talking to MNAs, MPAs and PTI leaders who called on him on Tuesday.

The Punjab chief minister said that the former rulers are opposed to transparency in the elections. "It has been habit of the opposition to do rigging," he maintained.

He said that the PTI government had set a new example of public service during the last two and a half years. "The former rulers had used the national wealth for their projection," he added.

CM Sardar Usman Buzdar said that the opposition knows well that their politics will come to an end if fair elections were held in the country. "The reforms process in the institutions will continue under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan," he added.

Punjab Minister for Livestock Sardar Hasnain Bahadur Dareshak, Special Assistant to the PM on Food Jamshed Iqbal Cheema, MPs Raja Riaz Ahmed, Haji Imtiaz Ahmed, Shahabuddin Khan, Adil Pervaiz, Abdur Rahman Khan, Malik Asad Khokhar, Tariq Tarar, Rai Hassan Nawaz and Tahir Bashir Cheema were present on the occasion.
