Embezzlement of IDPs’ funds: KP former additional secretary remanded

PESHAWAR (92 News) – An accountability court on Friday remanded Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) former additional secretary Arshad Khan and his two accomplices in the custody of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for 10 days. Earlier, Arshad Khan, the former Director General (DG) of FATA Disaster Management Authority (FDMA), was arrested along with his two accomplices for misappropriation in funds allocated for IDPs of Operation Zarb-e-Azb. According to NAB, the accused allegedly embezzled Rs 60 million from funds allocated for reconstruction of homes for the affected through fake surveys.
