Enmity claims five lives in Muridke

MURIDKE (92 News) – Five people were murdered over an old enmity in Haddoki locality on Thursday.

According to the police, Butt Group had opened fire on the houses of their rivals Qasab Group. As a result, Qasab Group chief Riyasat, Waqas, Amir, Mirajuddin and Rauf died on the spot. A man belonging to Qasab Group was injured in the firing. The deceased include three brothers and their two sons. 

The bodies have been shifted to THQ Hospital for autopsy. The enmity betwen two groups so far has claimed over 40 lives. 

The Punjab IGP has taken notice of the incident and sought a report from the Sheikhupura RPO.
