ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has said that the entire nation is on the same page to thwart the Indian aggression. Condemning the violation of the LOC by Indian aircraft on Tuesday, he said that the Pakistan flag will be hoisted at New Delhi if India started war against Pakistan. “On one side, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is washing the feet of the poor while he is shedding the blood of innocent Kashmiris on the other side,” he said. The PML-N president said that the Indian leadership should not push the peace of South Asia to fire. “It will be a big mistake of India to consider Pakistan’s peace-loving and tolerance as her weakness,” he declared. He urged the nation, especially PML-N workers, to express solidarity with the armed forces across the country. “Our armed forces are embodiment of passion for martyrdom, professional skills and exemplary valour,” said the PML-N president. Shehbaz Sharif said: “We are proud of our sons and jawans of the soil.” He said that he was ready to go to the frontline for the defence of the motherland. Earlier today, Indian military aircraft violated the Line of Control as they intruded from the Muzaffarabad sector but were forced to flee due to the timely response of the Pakistan Air Force. The incursion into the Pakistani air space follows a series of threats by Indian political and military leadership after the attack on an Indian Army convoy at Pulwama by a local youth, in reaction to the oppression unleashed by the occupational forces. Sherry Rehman demands Parliament’s joint session Pakistan People’s Party Senator Sherry Rehman has asked the United Nations and America to stop India from aggression. She demanded the government summon a joint session of the parliament over the current situation. “At this time, a powerful and clear message should be sent out from the Parliament that we will give a befitting and swift response to Indian aggression.” Sherry Rahman said that Pakistan’s armed forces are fully prepared to respond to the ‘drum of war India is beating.’ She said that the world should be given the message that Pakistan does not want a war. “If a war is waged against us, then we are fully prepared for it," she said.
