Entire nation plays role in fight against coronavirus: Dr Yasmin Rashid

SIALKOT (92 News) - Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid has termed that the Corona cases are reducing across the province, however, the entire nation played a role in fight against the pandemic virus. Speaking to the journalists along with Usman Dar, the health minister the people ignored the standard operating procedures (SOPs) in the previous Eid. She also announced to open the every industry after Eidul Azha. “The coronavirus outbreak is now under control. Nineteen districts of Punjab are now virus-free,” she added. Dr Yasmin Rashid announced that construction work will begin at seven maternity hospitals across the province during current year and PC-1 has been approved for Maternity Hospital Sialkot. "The government had approved building a new 200-bed hospital in Sialkot. The project will cost around Rs4.5 million." She further maintained that government has raised the salaries of doctors, nurses and issued 5 million health cards to the people. "When 7.2 million families will get health cards, 25 to 30 million people will benefit from the facility," she said.
