Entire nation united against terrorism: Marriyum Aurangzeb

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that the nation has fought the war against terrorism with undaunted courage and determination. She said this while addressing a convocation of Iqra University in Islamabad on Sunday.   She said there is a considerable decrease in terrorism incidents as a result of measures taken by the government and sacrifices by the country's armed forces.   The minister of state said every cowardly act of terrorism imbues new spirit of unity among the people.   She said this year is very important as it marks the 70th anniversary of the creation of our motherland.   Aurangzeb said the government is making special arrangements to celebrate this year`s independence day.   She said democracy in the country is being strengthened and the country has made significant progress in different fields including science and technology.   The minister of state said the government has launched a number of schemes for the benefit of youth.   She said the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is creating numerous job opportunities in different fields and urged the graduating students to take benefit of these opportunities.
