LAHORE (92 News) - Turkish drama ‘Ertugrul Ghazi’ actor Engin Altan Duzyatan has cancelled his agreement as a brand ambassador with Pakistani company.

"I am canceling the agreement with the Pakistani company as a brand ambassador. Mian Kashif Zameer did not fulfill any of the conditions under the agreement," the Turkish actor mentioned.

He said that he was deeply saddened by the false statements and misinformation given to the media by Kashif Zameer. "The company did not pay even half of the amount as per the agreement. I have not any association with Kashif Zameer anymore," he added.

"I am determined to enhance friendly relations as well as mutual culture between Turkey and Pakistan. Inshallah I will visit Pakistan again in person soon," the Turkish actor further maintained.

It is pertinent to mention here that Engin Altan played a leading role in the world famous Islamic historical drama. The actor has become famous all over the world especially in Pakistan due to his best acting performance and representing Islamic hero in his role.

Earlier on December 17 after first visit of Engin Altan, fraudster and wanted criminal Mian Kashif Zameer, who hosted Dirilis Ertugrul star Engin Altan Düzyatan in Lahore, has been arrested by the police party led by SSP Investigation.

Mian Kashif Zameer, who invited Dirilis Ertugrul star Engin Altan Düzyatan in Pakistan, has been arrested by the police after the emergence of his criminal record. Armed men and accomplices of Zameer were also taken into custody by the police.

It was revealed that Mian Kashif Zameer is a wanted criminal, with nearly 8 cases booked against him.

According to a criminal record of Kashif Zameer, four cases were registered against him in Lahore, two each in Toba Tek Singh and Sialkot. Cases were registered against Kashif Zameer in Lahore's Mozang, Chohang, Civil Line and Township police stations.

These cases include serious offenses including fraud, betrayal of trust, car theft, and robbery.

Kashif Zameer, who was seen everywhere with the Turkish star during his first-ever visit to Pakistan, had struck a deal of one million dollars with Engin Altan but paid only half of it.

It is pertinent to mention here that Kashif Zameer is the managing director of the Chaudhry Group of Companies and invited the Ertugrul star to visit Pakistan.
