Establishment has no role in murder of Arshad Sharif: Faisal Vawda

KARACHI (92 News) - PTI leader Faisal Vawda has categorically stated that the establishment has no role in the murder of senior journalist Arshad Sharif.

Addressing a press conference on Wednesday night, he disclosed that Arshad Sharif was not ready to leave the country. "Conspirators frightened Arshad Sharif to force him to go abroad. Bullets were fired from inside the vehicle after targeting it. Later, the evidence was effaced," he declared.

Faisal Vawda said that he was witnessing blood and bodies of the innocent people in the long march. "Arshad Sharif went to London and revealed the names of the people by making videos. These people will not be able to be scot-free if anything happened to him," he quoted Arshad Sharif, as saying.

He said that it was totally baseless that the establishment got Arshad Sharif expelled from the country. "Arshad Sharif has a positive relation with the establishment and he was in contact with it. He was ready to return to the country," he added.

Faisal Vawda said that a conspiracy was being hatched under the cover of the long march. "Some PTI insiders believe in the conspiring narrative. It cannot happen that I will do politics on the death of Arshad Sharif," he concluded.
