Every accused should be acquitted as per Shehbaz Sharif’s reply to NAB: Chohan

LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Minister for Colonies Fayyazul Hassan Chohan said that every accused should be acquitted according to the reply submitted by Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). Talking to the media on Tuesday, he said that Shehbaz Sharif’s quarantine is not of 14 days and it could be extended to 1,400 years. “For how long the ‘mother of corruption’ continue to escape from the NAB and one day will be under its (NAB) knife?” he maintained. The minister said that the accountability process had been started and would not complete until accountability of the corrupt coterie. He said that the PML-N had filed a case against Imran Khan who appeared before court and was declared ‘Sadiq’ and ‘Amin’. “Why do the PML-N leaders do so?” Fayyaz Chohan said that Shehbaz Sharif wants the NAB seeking permission from him to ask the questions. On Tuesday, Shehbaz Sharif did not appear before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in the assets beyond means and money laundering case and submitted his reply instead. He decided not to appear before the NAB after hearing his bail plea was delayed from today to Wednesday. The PML-N president had filed bail plea in Lahore High Court (LHC) to avoid his arrest in the case.
