ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Former army chief General Raheel Sharif has been appointed the chief of the 39-nation Islamic military alliance to combat terrorism. According to the British media, the appointment was made after proper clearance from the government and General Headquarters (GHQ). The headquarters of the Islamic military coalition is located in Saudi Arabia. Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has confirmed the appointment.
