Ex-LHC CJ declares AIG Islamabad Ashar Hameed’s death murder, demands probe

LAHORE (92 News) – Former chief justice Lahore High Court Khawaja Muhammad Sharif while declaring the mysterious death of Assistant Inspector General Police Islamabad Ashar Hameed a murder demanded the formation of a high-level investigating committee to probe into the matter. Talking to 92 News, he expressed concern over the sudden death of AIG Islamabad and post mortem report and lashed out at the investigating institutions for their noncooperation in the probe. He further demanded Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to form a high-level committee to probe into the matter. Earlier, 92 News program “Andher Nagri” had made startling revelations regarding the Ashar Hameed’s sudden death. According to police report, heart attack was declared the reason behind the death of AIG Islamabad, while the autopsy report didn’t even mention any reason of his death. The bereaved family is demanding justice from the high-ups.
