Explosion at cylinder shop in Lahore's Garden Town area

LAHORE (92 News) - An explosion took place in a cylinder shop of Garden Town area in Lahore and the fire engulfed four nearby shops on Tuesday.

According to the details garnered, a blast in cylinder shop incident happened in Barkat Market. Several gas cylinders exploded in the shop.

In the explosion, a man suffered burn injuries and 10 vehicles were damaged when gas cylinders exploded in a shop. Soon after the blast, the shop's roof caved in. The blaze also engulfed nearby shops while 10 vehicles were completely destroyed.

The rescue teams controlled the fire after strong efforts. the injured person has been shifted to the hospital. The Lahore commissioner took notice of the incident and visited the blast site.

Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar sought a report from the commissioner and CCPO. He also ordered inquiry into the incident.
