Expulsion of French Embassy, ambassador not possible: Sheikh Rasheed

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed has said that the expulsion of the French Embassy and ambassador not possible.

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, he appealed to the banned TLP to desist from its lone demand. "We want Saad Rizvi and TLP Shura should sit with us over the issue," he maintained.

The minister said that the government had accepted all their demands. "We are also ready to review the Fourth Schedule matter. A handful of arrested TLP workers will be released soon," he added.

He said that he would talk to Prime Minister Imran Khan after holding talks with the TLP leaders. "The government and the Army are on the same page," he maintained.

Sheikh Rasheed said that he hoped that the TLP workers opened the closed passages. "We do not want any disruption causing harm to the security of the country," he added.
